Geoimage had the pleasure of spending Thursday with Global Sales Manager Hyejeong Son and Regional Manager Ji-Yeon Kim from SI Imaging Services (SIIS).
It was a fantastic opportunity for both Geoimage and SIIS to collaborate and discuss current and future opportunities for our clients including the new SpaceEye-T satellite, a 100% commercial satellite with 30cm optical capabilities due to launch soon and the KOMPSAT-6, KOMPSAT 7 and KOMPSAT-7A launching in the near future.
SIIS have recently partnered with Geoimage and are the official distributor of the KOMPSAT constellations. The KOMPSAT constellation comprises a suite of advanced satellites, including KOMPSAT-3, KOMPSAT-3A, and KOMPSAT-5. These satellites provide high-resolution optical and radar imagery, enabling comprehensive and precise monitoring of the Earth’s surface.
All optical KOMPSAT satellites capture around 1:30pm local time, later in the day compared to other providers closer to 11am local time, a beneficial time as clouds are predominant in the morning or your project is afternoon focused.
